Initially, because of its focus on policy, the certificate not surprisingly drew the vast majority of its candidates from among PPS majors and Master of Public Policy graduate students. In addition, pre-med students always have been represented among certificate graduates each year. As the program has grown, health policy certificate candidates have become increasingly diverse in terms of undergraduate majors, graduate degree programs and career interests.
